European freight rate plummeted! 2M Alliance announced suspension of flight and jumping port 

Recently, the "Loadstar" reported that it had received an offer from a freight forwarder in Shenzhen. The offer for 40-foot containers from Shanghai to Felixstowe, Rotterdam and Hamburg was between US $620 and US $655, valid from October 18 to November 18, and the carrier was said to be Maersk.

Faced with the sharp drop in European freight, 2M Alliance took the lead in launching a "winter program".

It is reported that MSC and Maersk will resume reducing the coverage of "winter routes" from Asia to the North before December, so as to alleviate the impact of falling demand and continuous decline in route freight.

From the end of this month, the Asia-to-Nordic Loop of 2M Alliance will be suspended for seven weeks!

       面对欧线运费的暴跌,2M联盟率先推出一项“过冬计划”(winter program)。

       据悉:MSC和马士基将在12月之前恢复减少亚洲至北的“冬季航线”的覆盖范围，以减轻需求下降和航线运费持续下降的影响。

       从本月底开始,2M联盟的亚洲至北欧环线将暂停七周！
