The second 700TEU electric container ship was successfully launched

According to the official notice issued by COSCO Shipping Group, recently, following the world's first 700TEU pure battery-powered container ship N997, its sister ship N998 was successfully launched at Yangzhou COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry No.1 Dock, marking that the main body construction of the ship was basically completed and it was transferred to the dock commissioning and mooring test stage.

These two sister ships were built by Yangzhou COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, which belongs to COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, for COSCO Shipping Development. According to the construction plan, they will all be delivered and put into operation in the Yangtze River inland river by the end of this year to help the green upgrade of the golden waterway.

第二艘700TEU电动集装箱船顺利下水

       据中远海运集团发布官方通知，最近，继全球首制700TEU纯电池动力集装箱船N997轮之后，其姊妹船N998轮在扬州中远海运重工1号船坞顺利下水，标志着该船主体建造基本完成，已转入码头调试和系泊试验阶段。

       这两艘姊妹船是扬州中远海运重工为中远海运发展建造，根据建造计划，她们将于今年底全部交付投入长江内河运营，助力黄金水道的绿色升级。
