The construction of the first marine green methanol industry chain started

According to the official notice issued by COSCO Shipping Group, COSCO Shipping, China Power Investment Corporation, Shanghai Port Group （600018） and China China Inspection Co., Ltd. signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on Developing Green Methanol Industry Chain Construction online last month by means of "cloud signing".

It marks that the first marine green methanol industry chain project covering production, transportation, filling and certification in China has entered the actual construction stage.

COSCO Shipping said that using green methanol fuel is an important way to realize green transformation of shipping industry. COSCO Shipping Group has ordered 12 methanol dual-fuel container ships with 24,000 TEUs in the world, and the orders for methanol ships worldwide have exceeded 200. 

首个船用绿色甲醇产业链建设启动

       中远海运集团发布官方通知，中远海运、国家电投、上港集团（600018）、中国中检上个月以“云签约”方式在线共同签署了《关于开展绿色甲醇产业链建设合作备忘录》。

       标志着国内首个涵盖生产、运输、加注、认证等各个环节的船用绿色甲醇全产业链项目已进入实际建设阶段。

       中远海运表示，使用绿色甲醇燃料是航运业实现绿色转型的重要途径。中远海运集团已订造12艘2.4万标准箱世界最大甲醇双燃料集装箱船，全球范围内甲醇船舶订单量已超过200艘。
